Testimonies

Our Lord is so good, and I want to start to share some testimonies of the good things He has done. One of my favorites is Dave Roever's testimony. He had a phosphoric grenade blow up in his hand in Vietnam and lived to tell about it. I heard his testimony on tape as a child and had the privilege of seeing him speak when we lived in Texas. He told of how he struggled with the "why?" for so many years until one day he was invited to be on TBN with Jan Crouch. She asked him if he knew why God had allowed it to happen to him as if she knew the answer and it actually made him mad, "Does this little lady with pink hair really think she has this answer I have been searching all these years for?" She said, "Dave, he trusted you with those scars." And at that moment he testifies he was set free from all suicidal thoughts and depression that had plagued him even while he had been ministering. Praise the Lord! He has turned his testimony into "comic book" form and you can read it on his website. God is using him greatly to minister to our troops today and to the people in Vietnam.
