The Storm

We had a fun storm last night, but now there will be some lonely days ahead. It rolled in about 5:30. The power went out about 6:00 and it didn't come back on until around 11:00. We got some quarter-size hail and strong winds with it. I thought for sure these clouds were going to form into a tornado, but they didn't. My coworker that lives north of town had 5 trees down. So needless to say, the claims came rolling in to Shawn today. Last I heard from him, he was sure there would be over 300. Over 500 is considered a catastrophe and they call in help from around the country. He did get 10 adjusters sent this way to help him. But he is going to have some late nights the next couple of weeks. Marty got called back to the rig and Justin only comes home to sleep and shower. So it's just me and the dogs. We have another small storm going right now. We're getting rain again, so that's nice.

Those are some nice pictures. I bet you had quite a view from your place. I'm sorry you'll be lonely for awhile. You can always call me :) We'll head to Bismarck tomorrow with Cory/family in their van. Wish you could be with us too!

Love ya
